Where the Foundation works

The Foundation works in the Boroughs of Bromley, Lewisham and Croydon. With the vision to work with other Boroughs in the future. We deliver well structured programmes within Primary and High Schools that are in areas on social and economical deprivation.

Bromley

Geographically Bromley is the largest of the 32 London Boroughs. Bromley is a relatively affluent area; however there are pockets of severe deprivation with identified gaps in provision. Most notable are the requirements for a reduction in school absenteeism, the need for improved recreational activities and training opportunities for groups at risk of being marginalised.

Lewisham

Lewisham is the second largest inner London Borough, the profile of the populations is young with one in four being under 19 years of age. 72% of school children are from black and minority ethnic backgrounds. This Borough is facing levels of deprivation, on the specific indicator of income deprivation affecting children, 38 (out of 166) of Lewisham’s super output areas are in the 10% most deprived in the country.

Croydon

Croydon is one of the most diverse Boroughs in London. There are many issues that affect the Borough such as poverty, crime and the lack of youth provision. The Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) is working to ensure that the people of Croydon have a sense of belonging and opportunities that they may be currently lacking in. It aims to tackle issues head on to promote equality and a safer community.
