Primary School P.E

The Foundation specialises in high quality Physical Education provision for 5-11 year olds. Schools often have minimal expertise in delivering P.E to children

A typical day of PE consists of:

  • 8:00am-8:45am:  ‘Early Bird’ fitness club
  • 9am-12pm: PE Curriculum
  • 12pm-1pm: Lunchtime Club
  • 1pm-3:15pm- PE Curriculum
  • 3:30-4:30pm- Specialist sport club

The Foundation can guarantee expert coaching from a variety of experienced, qualified CRB registered coaches. Their fundamental aim is to always ensure that all children can achieve from the many benefits that P.E & Sport can bring, that can subsequently influence their learning. The Foundation believes that when the subject is taught effectively, that it can significantly impact upon the academic, cultural, emotional, moral, physical, social and spiritual development of the whole child.

Opportunities for learning range from high quality delivery of skills and knowledge through to leadership and volunteering programmes therefore underlining The Foundation’s commitment of P.E & Sport for all.

As an organisation, it thrives upon constructive feedback and real involvement within school life to reach out and impact upon as many children as possible. It has already demonstrated that an understanding and an appreciation of the benefits of participation in physical activity and maintaining a healthy lifestyle does produce far reaching changes that include improved levels of attendance, dedication, involvement and achievement within whole school life.

Their ability to provide curricular as well as extra-curricular provision ensures that non-specialist teachers can always be reassured of a quality-tested service that will enthuse and delight as well as challenge and fulfil by way of children’s learning.

At a time when education budgets are being severely tested and when state-funded school sports provision is being pared back, your school can be greatly encouraged by the message that Community Sports Coaching Foundation is the very package that can answer your needs in all matters related to guaranteed high quality P.E & Sport delivery.
