Some areas face significant social and economic exclusion through low morale, poor skills and low expectations. The formal nature of further education is off putting to individuals, who have sunk into a negative, low self esteem culture.
Our Community learning programmes are activity based as opposed to academic focused learning. Sport is an effective hook in which to engage people and address social inclusion. The programmes promote fitness and healthy lifestyles and supports young people to participate in and contribute to community and economic life.
