The staff and volunteers within the Foundation work together and embrace the diversity and difference of the individuals and respect the rights of the children and young people. The Foundation takes full responsibility to ensure that the best practice has been implemented at the highest standard, across all of the Foundations administrative, operation and development activities.

The child protection policy and safeguarding guidelines are clear statements of intent that demonstrates the Foundations commitment to all of our children and young people, their families, our funders, our supporters and our staff.

The communication and development of safeguarding and child protection guidelines gives everyone working at the Foundation a clear and concise understanding of what is expected from them when they are working with the children and young people.

All members working with children and young people within the Foundation are CRB checked to ensure awareness and understanding the policy. The trustees will also ensure that the members of the Foundation will continue with good practice guidelines and principles set out within the policy but also to improve and develop all practices and policies by assessing and reviewing out procedures.
